However, most people are shocked to learn that these fires are easily avoidable by cleaning your dryer venting every 12 months. An estimated 15,000 homes a year suffer from dryer vent fires just because of the accumulation of lint and or blockage. Not only does dryer vent cleaning safe guard your home against fires but it will help your laundry dry faster and help lower your utility bills. If our technicians show up to your residence and discover that the dryer vent is NOT located on the side of the house as the customer has previously stated then an increased charge will occur. Any dryer vents that are more than 6 inches from the ground, noted to be at the second level or higher or located on the rooftop will be charged an additional service fee at the time of the appointment. The additional charge is at the technicians discretion. These types of vent cleanings require extra technicians to be present, an 11 foot ladder and extra safety equipment. Notebly, any rooftop vent cleanings have a fixed price of $285 but Com24 does charge a convenience fee of $15.00 for having to do this on the day of the appointment. Please Note: Extra time was not built in for this type of appointment and we do have customers following yours. Our technicians are fully trained and licensed Heating & Air Conditioning professionals. We never subcontract our duct cleaning and we always back up our work with a satisfaction guarantee. Cancellation Policy
Com24 Heating and Air Conditioning reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any appointments for any reason. If a customer calls less than 48 hours prior to their scheduled appointment and cancels the agreement for reason unknown then the customer loses all rights to the deposit. If a customer is wanting to reschedule a date 48 hours prior to their scheduled appointment then Com24 has the right to make the decision on what they want to do with the deposit. Last minute cancellations are extremely hard to replenish. A large amount of time is scheduled for each duct cleaning and if Com24 is unable to fill that void then business is lost. Deposits: Any type of Air Duct Cleaning requires a 25% deposit that is due upon approving this proposal. Duct cleaning ranges anywhere from 1-4 hours and that would be time lost if we had a cancellation. The deposit goes towards your proposed amount of time and satisfaction is guaranteed. Rescheduling a new date within 48 hours is the same as a cancellation in reference to the deposit. At Com24 it is not our intention to charge the customer anything more than what we quoted you initially. That is why our prices are direct, upfront, and unchanged.
